APRIL Honey Bee 5-Frame Nuc Colony

Jumpstart your apiary with this live honey bee 5-Frame nucleus colony (NUC). Each NUC includes healthy bees of all ages, an active queen, 3 frames of brood at all stages, and 2 frames with nectar/honey and pollen stores, all ready to transfer to your hive. Perfect for both new and experienced beekeepers, this colony ensures a rapid start to honey production or pollination.

IMPORTANT: Each NUC comes in a temporary NUC box, and will be ready for same-day transfer into your 8 or 10 frame hive. Once you get it home, either transfer the contents directly into your larger empty deep hive, or place this NUC right on top of your current hive and open the the NUC entrance facing the same direction as the entrance to your own hive for a day or two (at the maximum). Do not leave the NUC box closed once you get it home. These hives are full and more than ready to establish and expand in your full deep hive right away.
